Report suspicious ads
If a listing looks fraudulent, overpriced-too-good-to-be-true, or the seller behaves suspiciously, use Report on the ad page. Our Ads Admin team reviews reports and can remove listings or suspend accounts.
Browse ads carefullyMeet in safe public places
Prefer dealership lots, malls, or police-adjacent meeting points. Never go alone to isolated locations for high-value deals.
Verify the seller
Use GCList chat or WhatsApp Call/Chat from the listing. Be cautious of sellers who push you off-platform immediately or refuse a call.
Check documents
For cars: mulkiya, service history, and GCC vs imported specs. For property: permits, ownership, and agency credentials where required.
Never pay by blind transfer
Avoid upfront deposits to unknown accounts. Prefer in-person payment after inspection, or platform-supported paid services only.
Red flags
- Prices far below market without a clear reason
- Pressure to pay urgently via gift cards or crypto
- Sellers who refuse video calls or in-person viewing
- Requests for your OTP, password, or bank login
- Duplicate photos reused across many unrelated ads
